Poong Lim's aggressive pursuit towards better technology has led to a breakthrough, called P/L process. Poong Lim developed and won patent for this proprietary technology. It is a biological sewage treatment method that provides innovative solution to environmental protection and water quality control while yielding significant economic benefits.

in the 21st century by tapping into its sophisticated expertise.
Utilizing biological process, this sophisticated sewage treatment method simultaneously eliminates both organic substances and nutrients such as phosphorous and nitrogen that cause eutrophication. The process was developed by Poong Lim in collaboration with Korea Institute of Construction Technology.
As the process is designed to capitalize on the existing activated sludge process and facilities, it can be easily converted and operated without major modification.


Developed based on the existing standard "Activated Sludge Method", it has competitive advantages over other system in terms of ease of management;


High degree of settlement in the last settlement basin, thereby, excellence in controlling the bulking phenomenon of the sludge;



Stable in the quality of treated water and effective in managing the organic substances, nitrogen and phosphorous, as the system is less influenced by the seasonal fluctuation and load change of the inflow water.
Suitable for the Korean local conditions.


P/L Process is widely recognized within and without Korea. The process is patented even in countries renowned for their stringent water quality management such as Japan and UK.
