Since
accredited by the Ministry of Education in 1993,
Poong Lim Technology Development Institute has provided
trainings in various disciplines including car repair,
construction material test and heavy-lift driving.
As a birthplace of construction experts, the institute
has made significant contribution to the industry.
In
November, 2003, in order to proactively respond
to rapid changes sweeping the industry,
the Institute renamed itself to Poong Lim Technology
Development Institute and started to offer in-house
training courses for engineers and technicians with
Poong Lim and from its subcontractors. These trainings
enabled Poong Lim to strengthen its technological
competitiveness. The institute now plans to further
expand itself to community-serving educational facilities
by accommodating trainees from other companies and
local groups |
